My practice marries color work, feng shui, design, and coaching to help my clients balance and enliven the spaces where they spend the most time – both at home and at work.
My philosophy is practical, not esoteric. Think “Queer Eye” meets Martha Stewart meets Lao Tse. (If you’re looking for feng shui based on astrology or the compass I’m not your gal.). What we do together is determined by your unique issues and goals – and together we find ways to create a space that feels good to you.
Before becoming a feng shui/color consultant in 2001 I was a health educator and free-lance writer. Since our health and well-being are so closely linked to the environments where we spend our time, this work feels like a extension–plus aesthetics.
I began my color studies with Personal Style Counselors in Oakland CA back in 1971, and am now certified with the Image & Color Institute to do personal color analysis–creating custom color palettes based on your skin tones, hair and eye color–for a wardrobe that brings out your inherent beauty. I completed my feng shui certification in 2001 with Terah Kathryn Collins of the Western School of Feng Shui in San Diego. I’ve taught classes at community colleges and for private client groups. If you belong to a group that would like a class, workshop or talk about color, feng shui, downsizing, de-cluttering or home staging, give me a call. I’ve been a member of Toastmasters since 2002 and received their highest award level (Distinguished Toastmaster) in 2008.
Finally I’ve long been active as a volunteer in community affairs, and in 2007 was honored as a “Woman of Achievement” by Clark College and the YWCA.
Blah blah blah. Enough about me – I want to know about YOU. Are you ready to create your own joyful space?
